The Super Falcons will continue their preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup on Friday with an international friendly match against Haiti in Turkey.
It will be the first time both countries will face off in a women’s football game, with Nigeria participating in every edition of the Women’s World Cup while Haiti are getting set for their debut outing in Australia and New Zealand later in July.

The friendly match will take place today, Friday – April 7 at the Emirhan Sports Center in the city of Antalya.

The Super Falcons recently snapped their seven-game losing streak with a 1-0 victory against Costa Rica in the 2023 Women’s Revelation Cup in Mexico.
They will be aiming to build on the result and get in the best shape before their World Cup opening match against Canada on July 21.
Haiti, on the other hand, have secured nine wins in their last 13 international matches. They have only played two games so far this season in the Women’s World Cup Intercontinental play-off (Chile 2-1 and Senegal 4-0).
