Wilfred Ndidi scored his first Besiktas goal as they returned to winning ways in the Turkish Super Lig with a comfortable 2–0 victory over Konyaspor on Wednesday night, Afrosport reports.
The Nigerian midfielder, who joined the Turkish club in the summer, scored the opening goal in the first-half, helping the Black Eagles end their two-game unbeaten run.

The visitors started brightly and were eventually rewarded in the 21st minute when Ndidi powered a header past Konyaspor goalkeeper Deniz Ertas to give the home side a deserved 1–0 lead.
The first half ended with Besiktas firmly in control, with Ndidi and Kokcu dictating the tempo with ease in midfield.
In the 73rd minute, Besiktas doubled their lead when Tammy Abraham tapped the ball into an empty net following a goalkeeping howler from Ertas. The British-Nigerian striker scored his fourth goal in nine league games this season.
Abraham thought he had gotten a brace shortly after but his close-range finish was ruled out following a handball from Rafa Silva.
The final whistle confirmed a much-needed victory for Sergen Yalcın’s men as they moved into sixth in the table.
