The Boston Celtics have reportedly signed free agent Chris Boucher to a one-year deal worth $3.3 million, shortly after sending Georges Niang and future picks to the Utah Jazz.
The 32-year-old, who joined the Toronto Raptors in 2018, was the last remaining member of their 2019 Championship winning team.
He has been key for the team coming off the bench and is the Raptors’ all-time leader in points, rebounds, blocks, minutes, and games played off the bench.

Boucher averaged 10.0 points and 4.5 rebounds in 50 games for the Raptors last season, all appearing off the bench. He also shot 49.2% from the field and 36.3% from the three-point line in 17.2 minutes per contest.
The 6-foot-9 forward is expected to have substantial playing time with the Celtics, who have lost several of its front court this offseason following the departures of Kristaps Porzingis, Luke Kornet, and Al Horford.
