Kylian Mbappe will wear the iconic number 10 shirt for Real Madrid from the 2025-26 season, Afrosport reports.
The French superstar wore the number nine shirt in his debut campaign with the club last term and was able to switch to the number 10 shirt following the depature of Crotian legend Luka Modric on a free transfer to AC Milan.
Mbappe joins a host of reputable names to have worn the number 10 shirt for Los Blancos such as Ferenc Puskas, Clarence Seedorf, Luis Figo, Gheorghe Hagi, Michael Laudrup, Robinho and Mesut Ozil.

Mbappe arrived in Madrid on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain last season and scored 44 goals in 59 competitive appearances.
The Spanish capital club however failed to win any silverware during the 2024-25 season, most recently bowing out of the FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals after a heavy 4-0 defeat against eventual runners-up Paris Saint-Germain in New Jersey.
Mbappe missed half of the tournament after battling with acute gastroenteritis. He appeared from the round of 16 and scored in the 3-2 quarter-final win over Borussia Dortmund.
