Arsenal winger Noni Madueke is facing a spell on the sidelines after sustaining a knee injury during Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City, Afrosport reports
The 23-year-old was withdrawn at half-time during the match at the Emirates Stadium, with manager Mikel Arteta later confirming that he wasn’t fit to continue.
Following a scan on Monday, the injury has been assessed, and it’s now understood that Madueke could be out of action for up to two months.
That timeline would rule him out until at least mid-November, casting doubt over his availability for the crucial North London derby against Tottenham on 23 November.
In the meantime, Madueke is expected to miss a series of key fixtures, including Premier League matches against Newcastle, West Ham, Fulham, Crystal Palace, Burnley, and a League Cup tie with Sunderland. The setback is a blow to Arsenal, especially given Madueke’s lively showing before his early exit at the Emirates.
Madueke joined Arsenal from Chelsea for an initial £48.5million in the summer, and he has featured in all six of their matches in the 2025-26 season.
The Gunners have won three of their first five Premier League games and are next in action against Port Vale in the League Cup third round on Wednesday.
