Ademola Lookman resumed training with the rest of the Atalanta first team after a meeting with head coach Ivan Juric on Thursday, Afrosport reports.
The Nigerian forward has been frozen out of the squad having pushed for a transfer away from the club that never materialised after Atalanta rejected two bids from rivals Inter Milan.
According to Football Italia, the Nigerian forward met with Juric before Thursday’s training session and also spoke to his teammates, explaining his tough summer which he has put behind and is now ready and motivated to help the team this season.
Lookman has yet to make a competitive appearance with La Dea this season, but could be available for the Serie A game against Torino on Sunday.
They head into the game off the back of a heavy 4-0 defeat to current UEFA Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain in midweek.
