Super Eagles winger Moses Simon scored his second goal for new club Paris FC as they defeated Metz 3-2 in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday, Afrosport reports.
The newly-promoted capital city outfit were searching for their first top flight win since 1979 after defeats to Angers and Olympique Marseille.
They started from behind against Metz after Senegalese forward Sadibou Sane scored in the 22nd minute.
Paris FC however equalised through Ilan Kebbal in added time of the first half before Simon assisted the Algerian midfielder in the 52nd minute.
Metz levelled 2-2 in the 54th minute through Mali midfielder Boubacar Traore but Paris FC were able to get the winner thanks to former Nantes man Simon and his composed finish off an assist from Maxime Lopez.
Metz ended the game with 10 men after Jessy Deminguet was given a straight red card in the 80th minute for a reckless challenge.

Simon will turn his attention next to the international window where Nigeria take on Rwanda and South Africa in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
