Serhou Guirassy was on target as Borussia Dortmund defeated 10-man Heidenheim 2-0 away in the Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon, Afrosport reports.
The home team were down to 10 men after Budu Zivzivadze was shown a straight red card for a studs on challenge on German midfielder of Nigerian heritage Felix Nmecha.
This gave Dortmund the momentum that turned to Guirassy scoring the opening goal in the 33rd minute with a header from a Julian Ryerson cross.
It was the eighth Bundesliga game in a row the Guinea striker scored, becoming only the third non-German player in the top flight to go on such a streak after former Dortmund players Robert Lewandowski (15 games) and Gabon’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (10 games).
