Patson Daka, Antoine Semenyo, and Tolu Arokodare were the leading African players to find the back of the net in FA Cup third-round action on Saturday, Afrosport reports.
Zambia forward Daka scored the first goal in Leicester City’s 2-0 win away at Cheltenham Town for just his second goal of the season.
Meanwhile, Ghana’s Semenyo made his debut for Manchester City following his £65 million move from Bournemouth, and scored the sixth goal in the 10-1 bashing of Exeter City. He also assisted Rico Lewis for the fifth goal.

At the Molineux, Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare came off the bench for Jorgen Strand Larsen and first assisted Rodrigo Gomes before netting the final goal in the 6-1 thumping of Shrewsbury Town.
It was his fourth goal of the season and third in domestic competitions after netting twice in EFL Cup games against Everton and Chelsea.
Also on the scoresheet was England defender, Tosin Adarabioyo, who is eligible to play for Nigeria, in Chelsea’s 5-1 away win at Charlton Athletic.
