Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has joined French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco on a free transfer after signing a two-year contract, Afrosport reports.
The 32-year-old Frenchman was previously on the books of Juventus but had his contract terminated after he was handed a four-year doping ban in February 2024 for testing positive for the banned substance DHEA which boosts testosterone levels.
The suspension was however cut down to 18 months after a successful appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
“AS Monaco are delighted to announce the arrival of Paul Pogba. The French World Champion has signed a two-season deal, having signed with the Principality until 30 June 2027,” read a statement on the club website.

It will mark the first time Pogba will play in Ligue 1 in his professional career.
Monaco finished third in the league last season behind Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Marseille, and will participate in the UEFA Champions League next season.
