Championship side Blackburn Rovers have signed Emmanuel Dennis on loan from high-flying Premier League outfit Nottingham Forest for the rest of the season, Afrosport reports.
Dennis has not played for Forest this season after he was left out of their 25-man Premier League squad for the ongoing 2024-25 campaign.
He joined Forest from Watford in the summer of 2022 and has played 25 times in all competitions, scoring twice and providing three assists.
He spent last season out on loan, first with Istanbul Basaksehir in Turkey, before spending the second half of the campaign at Watford.
“Rovers have concluded their transfer deadline day business with the loan signing of Nigeria international Emmanuel Dennis from Nottingham Forest,” read a statement on Blackburn’s website.
“Dennis will now hope to rediscover his goalscoring touch at Rovers after becoming our sixth signing of the January window. Welcome, Emmanuel!”

Dennis joins Cauley Woodrow and Yuri Ribeiro, also on loan from Luton Town and Braga, as deadline day signings for Blackburn, who are currently fifth in the Championship after 30 games.
