Nigerian forward Chrisantus Uche has joined current FA Cup champions Crystal Palace on loan from La Liga side Getafe for the 2025-26 season, Afrosport reports.
The 22-year-old joined Getafe from then-Spanish third side Ceuta last summer and made 33 La Liga appearances during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
Uche has already played three times in the Spanish top flight this term, scoring and assisting in the opening 2-0 win at Celta Vigo.
Uche’s move to Selhurst Park includes a mandatory option to purchase him for €18 million and an extra €2 million in add ons at the end of the season.
“This moment is unbelievable. I’m very lucky to be here today and this club is a big opportunity for me,” he told the Palace website.
Meanwhile, Palace chairman Steve Parish said of the signing: “I’m delighted to welcome Christantus to the club – an exciting young talent, who is also a full international.
“Christantus has already shown his capability during his time in Spain and everyone at the club is looking forward to seeing him thrive in South London.”
