Daniel Ogunmodede has released an 18-man roster for Sunday’s African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifying fixture against Ghana’s Black Galaxies, Afrosport reports.
Kano Pillars midfielder Rabiu Ali is listed alongside the Remo Stars quartet of Sadiq Ismail, Sikiru Alimi, Jide Fatokun, and goalkeeper Kayode Bankole.
The coach also listed goalkeeper Henry Ozoemena, defender Victor Collins and forward Abubakar, as well as Ikorodu City full-back, Waliu Ojetoye.
The CHAN Eagles departed their camp in Ikenne, Ogun State on Thursday for Lagos, they will embark on a trip to Ghana later in the evening.
The team will take on Ghana on Sunday in the first leg of the two-legged clash at the Accra Sports Stadium, starting from 5pm Nigerian time.
The second leg will hold at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo on Saturday, 28th December, with the winner on aggregate picking a ticket to the eight CHAN tournament taking place in Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda between February 1st and 28th February, 2025.
