Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma has been left out of the squad to face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday due to persistent lateness, Afrosport reports.
The Mali international was an integral part of the team that ended the club’s 17-year trophy drought by winning the Europa League over Manchester United in Bilbao.
He has however not shown the best of attitude to new Spurs boss Thomas Frank, who said he was late multiple times during pre-season and must face the consequences of his action.
“Bissouma isn’t here because of disciplinary reasons. He has been late several times, the latest one too many,” the former Brentford boss said.
“We need to give love and have demands but there have to be consequences. There’s a been a consequence, we will follow it up when we get home and park it for now.”
