Premier League sides Nottingham Forest and Everton are reportedly interested in signing Senegal winger Assane Diao from Serie A side Como, Afrosport reports.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Forest and the Toffees are keen on bringing the 19-year-old sensation to either the City Ground or the Hill Dickinson Stadium, after impressing in the Italian top flight in the last six months.
Diao joined Como from La Liga outfit Real Betis in January for €12 million, and was an instant hit, scoring eight goals and providing one assist in 15 Serie A games as Cesc Fabregas’ men finished an impressive 10th following their 21-year return to the Italian top-flight.
His market value has since increased and is currently priced at €30 million per Transfermarkt, with a contract until 2029.
Como are reportedly not willing to sell Diao, however, a big offer in the region of €70 million, which the club values for Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur-linked Nico Paz, could tempt them to sell.
