Arsenal agree £52 million deal to sign Madueke form Chelsea

Arsenal have agreed a deal with Chelsea to sign winger Noni Madueke for £52 million, Afrosport reports.

The England international of Nigerian heritage has already agreed personal terms with the Gunners and will put pen to paper on a five-year deal that runs until June 2030.

Madueke is currently part of Chelsea’s squad at the Club World Cup and has played five times, including the semi-final victory against Fluminense, which set up a final meeting with Paris Saint-Germain in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sunday.

He has featured 92 times for Blues since he joined them from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023 and has scored 20 goals and provided nine assists in 92 competitive games, including 11 goals and five assists in the 2024-25 season.

It will mark the third London club Madueke is associated with, having played for Tottenham Hotspur as a youth player before going to PSV in 2019.

His move will make him the fourth signing for manager Mikel Arteta after Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard.
