Leicester midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will lead the Super Eagles out when they take on Guinea-Bissau at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The West African giants have already recorded two wins in the qualifiers against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe, and will be looking to add a third win that would put them in the driving seat for qualification.
Omonia Nicosia’s Francis Uzoho retains his place in goal likewise Zaidu Sanusi at left-back.
It is a competitive debut for Fenerbahce full-back Bright Osayi-Samuel while it is a centre-back pairing of Calvin Bassey and Kevin Akpoguma.
In midfield, Ndidi is flanked beside Everton’s Alex Iwobi while the attack sees a powerful lineup that includes Samuel Chukwueze and Ademola Lookman on the flanks, with Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho playing behind the mercurial Napoli man Victor Osimhen.
