Algeria became the fourth team to book an automatic spot in the finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup following their 3-0 win over Somalia in Group G on Thursday, Afrosport reports.
The Desert Foxes needed to bag all three points in Oran which they did courtesy of goals from Riyad Mahrez and Mohamed Amoura (brace), and have joined North African rivals, Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt in sealing their place in next year’s finals.
