Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique was the recipient of the Johan Cruyff Trophy as the best manager in men’s football at the 2025 Ballon d’Or awards, Afrosport reports.
The Spaniard masterminded PSG to an unprecedented quadruple during the 2024-25 season, finally lifting the elusive UEFA Champions League title by defeating Inter Milan 5-0 in Munich.
He also led the French giants to the final of the revamped FIFA Club World Cup in the United States but lost to Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Sarina Wiegman was the recipient of this women’s Johan Cruyff Trophy after leading England to the Women’s Euro 2025 championship title in Switzerland after beating Spain on penalties.

It was back-to-back Euro titles for the Lionesses while it was a third for Wiegman after leading her home country the Netherlands in 2017 as tournament hosts.
